Glen Mills is a community located between Concord Township and and Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Now known primarily for its golf courses and gardens, Glen Mills was part of the original land grant given to William Penn in 1681. The area got its name from two paper mills which, from 1864 to 1868, supplied the United States government with a special patented paper used for issuing bonds and notes.
