About Narberth
Narberth is a borough located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The town was originally founded as “Elm” by Edward R. Price, a Welsh Quaker, in 1881. The town was renamed Narberth in 1893, and in 1895, Narberth was officially incorporated as a borough of Pennsylvania. Philadelphia Eagles founder and NFL commissioner Bert Bell spent his final years in Narberth, and there is a plaque in the downtown area placed in his honor. As of 2010, Narberth’s population is 4,282.
